Founded by Akram Aziz in 1994, Kilombero North Safaris has been offering the discerning hunter the finest classic East African hunting experience in Tanzania for more than three decades. His passion for wildlife and steadfast commitment to uplifting local communities surrounding the hunting areas has been the foundation on which the company was built, and under his stewardship continues to grow. He has been in the unique position to be able to safeguard these remote areas, whilst many others are unable to due to the tremendous resources needed to maintain and improve the habitats while still supporting the local communities.

Kilombero North Safaris is the largest concession holder, not just in East Africa, but in the entire continent of Africa. Managing over 6.1 million acres (over 25,000 square kilometres) of wild terrain across Tanzania, resulting in the highest number of available species in the country, as well as access to a variety of landscapes, appealing to even the most discerning of not just hunters, but observers. A unique set of diversity allows Kilombero North Safaris to create tailored safaris which gives clients access to the best suited areas for their priority species, taking into account the terrain and trophies as well as the client's preferences.

Because of its expansive dimensions and diverse terrain, many of Tanzania's game reserves continue to be unfrequented. In these unspoiled areas, one can find themselves immersed, standing in the midst of a riverine swamp, surrounded by the soothing, hypnotic rhythm of nature, all while tracking Cape Buffalo. Tanzania still stands as one of the few remaining places where wildlife thrives undisturbed, and the environment remains in its untouched, raw state.
